When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.”

― Viktor E. Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning

We all face challenges at some point in our lives, and it can sometimes feel hard to know where to turn. Sharing what’s bothering you with someone who is not a family member, partner or friend and who can offer a different perspective can bring clarity and relief.

Counselling or Psychotherapy may sound daunting, and that’s understandable – especially if this is your first experience. I offer a confidential, warm and non-judgemental space where we can explore any difficulties - current or historical - that may feel confusing or overwhelming. I don’t offer advice on how you should live your life and I am not here to change you or make you talk about anything you don’t feel ready to share. With time and the opportunity to talk openly about feelings that can be hard to face or make sense of, you can begin to gain greater self-awareness. This can give you a deeper understanding of how old and often unhelpful patterns of thought and behaviour have developed and may still be playing out in daily life.
